Program Description
A modified job search program for adults who have literacy or language barriers to employment.
What to expect
At Job Solutions we offer clients
- one-on-one support and small group workshops, assistance in generating resumes, reference lists, fax cover sheets, and thank you letters
- job leads and postings
- links with potential employers
- the use of computers, phone, and fax
Special features of this program
- One-on-one job search assistance
- Job Developers to explore and obtain job leads
- transportation support for those who qualify
- services at off-site locations [see below]
Who is eligible?
- adults 19 years of age and older who need help job searching due to reading, writing or language difficulties
- who have Grade 12 education or less
- who are prepared to actively seek and secure full-time employment
- who are motivated and able to commit to a part-time program
Program duration
Up to 12 week program. Clients are required to attend 3 sessions a week.
