Funding announcement at PTP West
Laurel Broten, MPP for Etobicoke Lakeshore, recently announced an increase in funding for PTP Adult Learning and Employment Programs for the current fiscal year. The increase is part of the Ontario government’s investment in literacy and essential skills. Ms. Broten also announced an increase in funding for the Lakeshore Area Multiservice Project (LAMP).

PTP presented at the hugely successful 2008 Canadian Apprenticeship Forum Conference in beautiful Victoria BC this past June. PTP presented to delegates from across the country and abroad. The presentation showcased PTP’s partnership with George Brown College (GBC) and East Toronto Social Services (ETSS) which provided a forum for the action-based research discussed in the Filling the Gap report.
